It is therefore my pleasure to invite you and the members of ELESYP to an upcoming live presentation by Langara College, one of British Columbia’s leading undergraduate institutions, on Wednesday, Feb 24th, 17:00 Athens time (7am PDT). Some background information on Langara College:

• Located in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Langara College provides affordable University Studies, Career Studies, and Continuing Studies programs and courses to Canadian and international students, with flexible intakes (programs starting in September, January, and May).
• Start A Career: Their practical programs prepare students for employment. International students who complete a full-time program at Langara are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. Post-degree programs are available for students who have a bachelor’s degree and want to enhance and broaden their professional skills.
• Earn A Degree, or Transfer To University: Students complete two years of study at Langara before transferring credits to university. Commonly, their students transfer to institutions in the BC province, such as University of British Columbia (UBC),  Simon Fraser University (SFU), and University of Victoria (UVic), where they complete their Bachelor’s degree. For those who want to complete a degree at Langara, the options are Business Administration and Bioinformatics.
• Learn English: The LEAP program is an intensive ESL program designed to prepare students whose first language is not English for fulltime study at universities and colleges.
